Disaster relief
When disaster strikes the church is there. For many people the Church is the only place to go in an emergency.
In Pakistan, Church schools provided emergency shelters for people fleeing from the floods.
In Sudan, Churches sheltered refugees from conflict.
In many crises, Anglican agencies provide practical support – food, shelter, healthcare, funds.
We are also working to make our aid as effective as possible. Bringing together agencies to support people in crisis, and talking to UN agencies who run the big relief programmes.
