THE ANGLICAN ALLIANCE BRINGS TOGETHER THOSE IN THE ANGLICAN FAMILY OF CHURCHES AND AGENCIES TO WORK FOR A WORLD FREE OF POVERTY AND INJUSTICE, TO BE A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS, TO RECONCILE THOSE IN CONFLICT, AND TO SAFEGUARD THE EARTH.

Communities

Across the world, church communities are joining up to overcome poverty and injustice.

Some churches link up informally. Others take part in the Companion Diocesan Link scheme. This offers a chance for mutual sharing and exchange programmes, prayer and practice.

In the Pacific island of Papua New Guinea, Popondota Diocese has linked with Rockhampton in Australia.

Schools in Africa and the UK have seen the benefits of the partnership between Zambia and the Diocese of Bath and Wells. They run exchange programmes and joint workshops to learn from each other.
