THE ANGLICAN ALLIANCE BRINGS TOGETHER THOSE IN THE ANGLICAN FAMILY OF CHURCHES AND AGENCIES TO WORK FOR A WORLD FREE OF POVERTY AND INJUSTICE, TO BE A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS, TO RECONCILE THOSE IN CONFLICT, AND TO SAFEGUARD THE EARTH.

People

Grounded in the Church’s mission to challenge and change the unjust structures of the world, the Anglican Alliance has a mandate to bring together development, relief and advocacy work across the Communion.

Arising from a decision of senior Anglican clergy, the Alliance has the backing of all sections of the Anglican Communion. Our mission and modes of action are set out in the Mandate for Action.

Throughout the world, wherever there are crises, Anglican agencies are there with their experience and expertise. Find out more about them.

There are 44 provinces in the Anglican Communion, many with development, education, health and social service departments working for a better future. In Africa, the Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa brings together the Church's work across the continent, and is a key partner for the Anglican Alliance.

The Alliance is constituted as a charitable company with a board of trustees.  Work is carried forward by our staff worldwide. We welcome volunteers.

Above all, the Alliance belongs to everyone in the worldwide Anglican family commited to working for a world free of poverty and injustice.

If you share our mission and want to find out more about the Anglican Alliance, we want to hear from you.
